Day 1: Depart from USA Airport with your air carrier in the evening. Dinner and breakfast served in flight.

 
 
 
 
Day 2: MOSCOW
Arrive Moscow next day. Upon arrival the group will be met, assisted and transferred by private motor coach to ms "River Voyager” -your unique floating hotel anchored in the historic Moscow River. The balance of the day is at leisure to relax, get acquainted with the ship, the cruise staff and meet your fellow passengers. This is the  only type  ship on Russian river cruise market, fully rebuild in 2005/2006 on the German/Finnish shipyards. All cabins are outside junior suites with large picture windows, private bathrooms, refrigerators, climate control,satellite, telefon,ship's information system. Public facilities, amongst others, include observation lounge on the sun deck,and lecture room, bars, beauty salon, souvenir shop, medical and laundry service, Internet connections.
Program aboard the ship includes a Captain’s welcome reception, gala farewell dinner, guest lecturers, Russian language and song lectures, nightly entertainment, folklore shows, passenger’s talent show, daily aerobics and our cruise director and staff.
Moscow is the Capital of Russia and the crossroads of its people. It abounds in modern boulevards and parks, but is also the guardian of over 800 monuments of Russian history and World culture.

Day 3: MOSCOW
In the morning you will start your city tour- Bolshoy Theater; the Olympic Stadium and many other points of interest. Enjoy the view of St. Sofia Embankment of the Moskva-river; The Bolshoy Stone Bridge; take a picture at Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the new monument to Peter the Great; Gorky Park; stop at Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts; observation platform of Sparrow (Lenin) Hills; Victory Park and Poklonnaya Hill with World War II Memorial; White House (Russian Government). Balance of the day for independent explorations, optional tours, visit of museums, art galleries, shopping and more.Evening entertaiment on board the ship .

Day 4: MOSCOW
After breakfast you will start your tour of Moscow, Kremlin and Cathedrals Tour will include the Cathedrals and Palaces of the Kremlin, witness to all major events in the history of Russia. The Great Kremlin Palace was formerly the tsar's Moscow residence. The palace, which has more than 700 rooms, was built for Tsar Nicholas I between 1838and 1849 by K. Thon , N. Chichagov and associates. It comprises the Palace of Facestand the Holy Vestibule, parts of a 15th-century Palace, the Tsarina's Golden Chamber from the 16th century , along with palace cathedrals and churches. At first sight, the building seems to have two floors above the ground floor, but in fact there is only one upper floor with a double row of windows. Situated in the new palace, is the enfilades of halls dedicated to the Russian orders St.George, St.Vladimir, St.Andrew, St.Alexander and St.Catherine, as well as the Imperial Family's private apartments and a suite of state apartments.
After your Kremline tour you will continue to the Red Square with St. Basil’s Cathedral, the Lenin Mausoleum, Central Department store (GUM), and much more. When you will complete your sightseeing, your lunch will be served in one of the famous city Russian traditional restaurants. Set sail in the evening.

Day 5: UGLICH
Sail via the Moscow Channel to Uglich, a beautiful little town on the shores of the Volga River. It is known for the impressive Cathedral of the Resurrection and St. John’s Church. It is also noted for the Church of St. Dimitri-of-the-Blood, erected on the site where Tsarevitch Dimitri, son of Ivan the Terrible, was murdered in 1591. Today, well known town for Russian watches "Chaika" Departure to Yaroslavl, Afternoon time.

Day 6: YAROSLAVL
At 08:00 a.m. you will arrive at Yaroslavl. It was founded in 1010 by Yaroslav Mudry (the Wise). It was a large centre of trade and crafts in the 17th century. In 1722 Peter I ordered to found there a great Yaroslavl manufacturing plant and the city became a large industrial centre in the 18th century. It was the eight industrial city in Russia and took second place in textiles at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Yaroslavl belongs to the "Golden Ring" cities of Russia and it's one of the largest centers of Russian architecture and arts of the 13th - 17th centuries. The city has a lot of historical and architectural monuments. On your sightseeing see the most ancient Spaso-Preobrazhensky monastery in the centre of the city, founded in the 12th century (the famous collector of literature masterpieces A.I. Misin-Pushkin found there the manuscript of "Slovo o Polku Igoreve" - one of the sacred items of Russian literature, at the end of the 18th century); former Metropolichii chambers (the 17th century), Znamenskaya and Uglichskaya towers of "Zemlyanoy city" in 17th century, the church of Ilia Prorok (1605) with wonderful fresco paintings, the churches of Nicola Nadein (1622) and of Rozhdestva Khristova (1644), the set of religious architecture in Korovniki, the church of Nickola Morskoy (1672). Now the departments of Yaroslavo-Rostov historical-architectural and art museum are situated in the buildings of Spaso-Preobrazhensky monastery. The church of Ilia Prorok is a branch of this museum. Continue the cruise over the mighty Rybinsk Reservoir.

Day 7: GORITSY
After passing White Lake you will enter the Volga-Baltic Canal,and Goritsy a village known for the Kirilo-Belozersky Monastery, founded in 1397. It is surrounded by fortress walls, crowned with magnificent towers, and decorated with brick patterns.One of the best collections of Russian Icons in the World. Continue the cruise to Lake Onega, passing Cherepovets - the biggest steel production city of Russia.

Day 8: KIZHI
Cruising through Lake Onega, one of the biggest lakes with pure water. Call the Island of Kizhi at 5:00 pm and visit the unique outdoor museum of wooden architecture. Notably the18th century Church of the Transfiguration with 22 domes entirely built of wood and without the use of nails.

Day 9: Mandrogy (Recreational stop)
Cruise through the beautiful Svir River which connects Lake Onega with Lake Ladoga.Visit one of the typical Russian village with wooden architecture. This is primarily a recreational stop, well suited for a refreshing walk, meeting local people, enjoying pure nature of Russian North.

Day 10: ST. PETERSBURG
St Petersburg Via the Neva River reach St. Petersburg and dock at a convenient site. This city, formerly known as Leningrad, is built on 101 islands, interconnected by 300 bridges. This artistically embellished city has been the capital of Russia and some of its mighty Czars for centuries. Peter the Great founded it as Russia’s "Window to the West".
During morning sightseeing you will drive along the Peter & Paul Fortress, St. Isaac’s & Kazanskiy Cathedral's with its magnificent altar, the Nevsky Prospect, where the finest shops, cafes and museums are, and other points of interest. Balance of day at leisure. You will have the opportunity to see and enjoy one of the most beautiful cities of the world, a real treasure.

Day 11: ST. PETERSBURG
Morning devoted to visiting the former Imperial Winter Palace, now housing the world famous Hermitage Museum. It contains over three million art objects and cultural relics, including masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Roden , Rembrandt, Rubens, French impressionists, etc. Gala room of the Winter Palace , is a former Royal residence. Balance of day at leisure. You can see ballet performance in Hermitage theater, visit famous Russian Museum. Or enjoy the opera or ballet in Mariinsky Theater.

Tour to Peterhoff (Petrodvorets)
Petrodvorets was a summer palace of Peter the Great. It is located on the shore of Gulf of Finland. Built by Peter the Great to rival and even outshine the palace and the park of Versailles it really became the world famous gem. More than 140 fountains and 3 cascades spout into the air, forming cascading column of water. Many small and cozy palaces can be seen in the parks of Peterhof. In the evening you may explore “The Northern Venice” on your own, using our comprehensive optional tours.
