All invitations will be processed through the
Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Official
visa support will be either telexed directly to
the Consulate or faxed to you.

Passport must be valid not less than six months
after the date of departure from Russia.
3.
We will start processing your visa support on
the same day if we receive documents before 12.00
p.m. (GMT+3), or they will go in processing the
next business day.
4.
To obtain your visa, present the official visa
support or telex number at your local Russian
Embassy or Consulatefor telexes we will
inform you about the number of telex to Russian
Embassy or Consulate in your country for invitations
we will send the original of invitation
to you by fax or by express mail (extra charge)
to any country in the world or deliver it to your
office for free (within Moscow area)
REQUIREMENTS
FOR ENTRY (Tourist Visa):

Passport must be valid no less than six months
after the visa expiration date.
2. Tickets and Documents for Return or Onward
Travel. Holders of travel documents other than
passports (Permit to Re-Enter the United States
of America, Travel Document, etc.) must submit
valid Permanent Resident Card.

REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN
VISA TO RUSSIA:
1. Valid
national passport (original only and it
should have at least two clear pages). It must
be valid no less than six months after the visa
expiration date. Holders of travel documents
other than passports (Permit to Re-Enter the
United States of America, Travel Document, etc.)
must submit valid Permanent Resident Card.
2. Completed visa applications (two per
person), signed by the Applicant. All entries
on the form must be typed or printed in block
letters in English or Russian. Incomplete visa
application forms shall not be processed. Application
forms can be downloaded.
3.
Two passport size pictures of the applicant.
Pictures can be black-and-white or color, full
face, stapled to the upper-corner of an application.
Digital copies are not accepted.)
Effective
April 1, 2004 US citizens are required to
submit a new visa application form to Consulate.
The new form is implemented on the basis of reciprocity
and replaces the previous Standard Application Form
and Supplemental Form.
People
who has travel passports have to use the same application
form like US citizens. All other people with
thier country passport have to use non_us citizens
application form.
People
who has Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian passports
need to have medical insurance to enter Russia.

FORMAT (PDF)
To
print the Russian Visa Application in Portable
Document Format (PDF) you will require Adobe Acrobat
Reader Version 4.0 or higher, free from Adobe
Systems, Inc. You can download the Acrobat Reader
version that is suitable to your system from the
Adobe web site.
After that,
just print, sign and send the form with other
required paperwork.
VISA / STAYING REGISTRATION
According to
Russian law, your Russian visa must be registered
within 72 hours of arrival. (including weekends
and official holidays).
1. If you are staying at a hotel, the hotel will
register your visa. You will be asked of your
visa and passport. A small registration fee can
be imposed.
2. If you are not staying at a hotel, we will
provide you with the information where to register
you visa in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
3. If your final destination is not Moscow or
St. Petersburg and you are not staying at a hotel,
you will need to register your visa with a local
UVIR. We will provide you with an official letter
requesting UVIR officials to register your visa
promptly.
NOTE: Please note that
not registering your Russian visa may lead to
serious problems: detention by police, fines on
departure, prevention from boarding the plane,
etc.
We strongly advise you to register your Russian
visa to avoid possible unnecessary inconveniences.
