Year Of Spanish Tourism

The intersectional year of Russian and Spanish tourism began on 5 April in Madrid. The opening ceremony was attended by José Pedro Sebastian de Erisa, President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation, Ambassador Yuri Korchagin of Spain, Ambassador Yuriy Korchagin of the Russian Federation, President of the Spanish-Russia Foundation, José Pedro Sebastian de Erisa, Secretary of State for Tourism of Spain, Isabel Borrego, World Tourism Organization.

" Crossing the Years of Tourism between Russia and Spain will contribute to the further development of partnerships in bilateral relations, will increase the mutual flow and promote Russia ' s tourism opportunities in the Spanish market and vice versa. I am also convinced that cross-year activities will lead to the emergence of a positive image of our country in the world, and Oleg Safons stated.

Prior to the opening ceremony, a meeting was held with Isabel Borrego, Secretary of State for Tourism of Spain. During the interview, Oleg Safontov stated that there was a need to ensure a high level of security in tourist recreational areas. Head of Rosturism expressed confidence that Spain would guarantee the safety of travel throughout the country.

Oleg Safontov also invited Spanish colleagues to facilitate the process of obtaining visas for Rossian: to issue more multiple and long-term visas and to eliminate the need for entry documents for children under 16 years of age.
