The meeting of the working group on the construction, deployment and operation of APC, the Safe City of the Republic of Altai, was held on the eve of the Government of the region under the chairmanship of the first Vice-President of the Government, Robert Paltaller.

The meeting addressed preparations for the deployment of the System 112 Challenge Centre as part of the hardware and software complex, the establishment of photo-recording systems for traffic violations in the Republic.

According to the Chief of Information Technology Development, Ministry of Economic Affairs development and tourism RA Constantine Borov, work on the establishment of automated photo-recording systems for road traffic violations continues in the Republic.

This work is being carried out with a view to improving road safety and preventing offences within the framework of the State programme of the Republic of Altai Information Society.

To date, the first-stage mobile units established in the Chui tract have been used in the region. Stationary complexes are also in place to ensure the operation of the system in Gorn-Altisk.
