In 2012, the first open recruitment by the Russian cosmonaut team took place at the Space Training Centre. At that time, applications were filed by just over 300 people from all over the country, of which eight candidates were selected in the course of 1, 5 years of general space training, six were finally cosmonauts. The next team is planned for 2017. What are the requirements for modern professional spaces? Where do you need to learn how to develop your professional career, what books to read, what submarines are on the way to space? The answer to these questions is that you will find out in the new pilot course of the U. A. Gagarin Space Club in St. Petersburg.
During the course, you will learn:
♪ Health requirements for cosmonaut candidates;
♪ Training package prior to application to cosmonauts;
♪ Basic stages of cosmonaut training and the professional path of cosmonaut;
- Prospects of work in Russia as an astronaut and future of the pilot programmes;
Alternatives to space are astronauts from other countries, space tourism.
