The office has officially given goodness to a large-scale project.
The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation has approved the idea of a large film on Baikal, to be made by a Hollywood actor Leonardo de Caprio. This has been reported by an adviser to the Department of Cinematography, Olga Romanova, who reports the Euro-Asian News site.
We recall that documentary 3D-Filem, entitled “Baiqal is the heart of the world”, has been claiming budgetary funding along with 25 other work. As a result, the Russian Ministry of Culture evaluated the project and will make 7 million roubles from the State budget for the creation of a film.
The total production budget is estimated at 70 million roubles. Now, some of the costs fall on the State.
Work on the tape will be an international cinematographic team from the United States, China and France, as well as specialists working with James Cameron. The rental is scheduled for 2018. The film director will be Svetlan Rodina-Zayar.
As has already been reported, the English-speaking version of the documentary will be heard by the scave Hollywood actor Leonardo de Caprio. The star's consent has already been obtained. The question remains, whose voice will be heard by the viewers in the Russian version. According to a number of media, they could become Vladimir Putin. The creators of the film offered the President an honourable mission, but the Head of State had not yet responded.
