1.1 The nature and concept of events of tourism 1.1.1 Industrial tourism in modern tourism products " Tourism is regarded as one of the profitable and intensive sectors of the world ' s economy. This is evidenced by the fact that tourism accounts for about 10 per cent of world gross national income " International tourism currently accounts for 8 per cent of world exports and 30 to 35 per cent of world trade in services. The total cost of domestic and international tourism is 12 per cent of the world ' s gross national product. Tourism development plays an important role in addressing social problems. In many countries, new jobs are being created through tourism, the standard of living of the population is maintained, and there are prerequisites for improving the country ' s balance of payments. The need to develop the tourism sector contributes to the improvement of education, the improvement of the public health care system, the introduction of new media, etc. Tourism influences the preservation and development of cultural potential, leads to the harmonization of relations between different countries and peoples, compels the authorities, public organizations and commercial entities to participate actively in the preservation and improvement of the environment. The modern development of tourism in Russia is characterized by deep contradictions in its organizational structure, in the direction of development, in quality and quantity. On the one hand, state in Russia Considered as a crisis related to: a sharp fall in the amount of tourism services previously provided, a reduction in the material base of the tourism industry and a significant inconsistency with the needs of the population for tourism services. On the other hand, there has been a significant rate of construction of tourist facilities that meet world standards - a significant increase in travel of citizens - an increase in the number of tourist organizations. General Russian trends are noted: 1. Demand for group travel is declining and individual tourism is increasing; 2. Demand is high. ♪ ♪
