Status Of Tourism Development

An analysis of the current state of tourism development in the Russian Federation showed that the industry was weak, which was the result of poor tourism infrastructure in most regions, low qualifications of service workers and weak implementation of labour capacity, poor information coverage and promotion of regional tourism resources. At present, a promising and dynamic tourism destination is the development of tourism, with tourists visiting attractive events. The purpose of the article is to define the state of development. in the Russian Federation Federation, as well as development opportunities. The article, based on the analysis of tourism, justified the need for the development of events as the most promising route in modern settings, proposed its definition and examined the characteristics of the species. The scientific novelty of the work is reflected in the study of recent tourism from a conceptual perspective. Work uses theoretical analysis, statistical analysis, synthesis, comparison. The article contains socio-economic indicators of the world ' s history of tourism, the share of the tourism industry in the Russian Federation, and the tourism flow of certain events taking place in the country. In conclusion, measures have been proposed to enhance the development of this area in the Russian regions, among which the main are the creation of a cycle of events distributed throughout the calendar year, the creation of an extraordinary event that can provide a constant motivation for the region ' s visit, the enhancement of information support for activities, and new approaches to the content of events. The theoretical and methodological work of Russian and foreign scholars and experts in the field of tourism and regional economy was used as an information base for the study. The feasibility of the study is that its results can be used in management decision-making in the development of regional development programmes for tourism.
