Carel Rivers
The species of Karelia is associated primarily with the edge of blue lakes. Indeed, the lakes here are unusually large, over 61,000. By their number per 1,000 square kilometres of square kilometres, Karelia is confidently occupying the first place not only in Russia but also among the regions of the world. The Karel lakes are very different in size, ranging from small flames, wasteless and unnamed, to the largest in Europe, Ladža and Onez. The lakes with a mirror area up to 1 square kilometres, but many and larger, up to 10 and more square kilometres, and 20 of them exceed 100 square kilometres. The total lake of Karelia is 11.4 per cent, which is markedly higher than its neighbour of Finland, and almost twice the Murmansk region. Many lakes are bound by the tectonic movement of the earth ' s crust, but most by the smelling and accumulating effects of glaciers. The former are deeper, usually lengthy, high scalist, often ruptured, shore and small islands. The configuration of glacier lakes is much more diverse than that of islands, bays, straits and relatively small depth. However, very often the lakes have mixed origins and it adds additional color. The deepest carel lake is Ladža, with a maximum depth of 260 m. It is markedly smaller than Onez, 126 metres, and large lakes such as Xiamosero, 97 m., Topozero, 56 m. And in this company, the lakes, the giants, were stubborn, are tiny, compared to them, typical of the tectonic lake of Paanayarvi, which has been stretched by a narrow ribbon (extreme 1, 5 km, 24 km long) in the north-western Caribbean. Its depth is 131 m. It's a carel mini. The depth of very many lakes is between 20 and 50 m. There are, however, large lakes, like Ondozero in the middle Karelia, whose depth does not exceed 10 metres. The coast of the carel lakes is very vivid. Most of them are vain, often rocky, with rocks either high and cliffing or glacier leaning, with the characteristic name of baranions. Sometimes gold strips of sand beaches or dark beaches are painted into shore descriptions. Open coasts are small, usually lakes are surrounded by multi-coloured forest tumours, rich berries and mushrooms. |
